I was watching an older video and it had a few other things like options that could affect the map with hazards like webs and poison clouds before fighting the mini-bosses. I can agree with the more open map idea since you aren't forced to go to boss you can explore a bit more. So right now you only have one of two mandatory boss to defeat, but you can take on a bunch of Mini-Bosses too. You are probably thinking about the Mini-Bosses that were mandatory before and are now optional, but the end goal seems to be to have a big map and going through each province to defeat the bosses there to unlock the final boss or something. You still have the same max amount of cards in your deck but the minimum went up so people don't just throw out half the deck at the start. The game in essence functions identically to before, except there are more options as to how to progress.Ĭorruption still exists and pretty much has the exact same role, better loot, stronger enemies.
